Where to begin.... My name is Parker! I live in Los Angeles, CA, but I'm from Saint Louis, Missouri. I came out to LA for college and work, and I plan on staying out on the west coast for a long time!
I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in May of 2019 with a BFA in Studio Arts, with an emphasis in Graphic Design. My experience at a liberal arts university was priceless, and helped me to become the well-rounded individual I am today. I am currently enrolled in an MFA program for Game Design from Laguna College of Art and Design, and am exploring the many possibilities the medium has to offer.
Outside of my academic studies, I have gained a myriad skills through online programs and tutorials. I have a number of certificates from online educational courses, and have taught myself basic coding and logic as it pertains to the construction of games.
I spend my freetime doing a wide variety of things. I am a huge advocate for hobbies, and as a result have dabbled in quite a lot of different things here and there.
Rubik's cubes, chess, drawing, animation, gaming & esports, dancing, ultimate frisbee, billiards, table tennis, making puzzles, solving puzzles, and a whooooole lot more!
I also stream on Twitch occasionally, which has been an incredible way to meet new people, hang out, and just have fun!
Some fun facts:
I used to be a top ranking competitive Irish Dancer, competing from when I was 6 until about 14
I was a Hip Hop dancer from ages 11-21, and performed in New York and Las Vegas among many other places. My final year of college, I was also the president of an esteemed dance crew at LMU.
I used to be a super picky eater, and didn't eat my first cheeseburger until I was 19. Now, I eat all kinds of things, and I crave burgers, steak, and korean bbq most days (I still won't eat potatoes though for some reason... some things never change).
I used to compete in Super Smash Bros tournaments, and am still an avid fan of the Smash series. Smash Ultimate and Breath of the Wild are my top 2 favorite video games! (most days... the list changes very frequently if I'm being fully honest)
So that's just a little bit about me as a person! Thanks for taking the time to read a bit about who I am, and I hope to meet you soon if I haven't already! I have some big plans for the future, and am excited to see where it takes me! I hope you have a great day!
